How To Use NAA-NA and IBA-K To Make Hawthorn Trees Take Root

1. IBA-K
Select healthy hawthorn cuttings with excellent quality, moderate size, robust growth, and no young buds. Soak the base of the cuttings in IBA-K 50 mg/L for 3 hours, and then bury them in soil with moderate humidity to promote rooting. The rooting effect is significant.

2. NAA-NA
Select disease-free hawthorn cuttings with excellent quality, moderate size, robust growth, and late sprouting. Soak the base of the cuttings in 10 ppm NAA-NA solution for 12 hours. Soak and bury in soil with moderate humidity to promote root growth.
Hawthorn green branch cuttings can be treated with NAA-NA 300 mg/L concentration for 5-7 seconds, and the rooting rate can reach over 90%.

3. IBA-K+NAA-NA
Hawthorn tender branches were soaked in water at room temperature for 6 hours, and then treated with rooting powder mixed with IBA-K and NAA-NA at a concentration of 300 mg/L for 5-7 seconds. After cutting, the root rate was above 80% at 60-75 days.

Attention:
1.The concentration of IBA-K should not exceed 80 mg/L when used, otherwise it will reduce the rooting rate of hawthorn cuttings.
2.It is necessary to strictly control the concentration of NAA-NA. If the concentration is increased to 20 mg/L, it will actually decrease the rooting rate. The processed cuttings need to be strengthened in field management.
3.IBA-K and NAA-NA can be directly dissolved in water.
