Application of S-ABA on Grapes

  1. New shoots sprout and the flowering period is consistent, with the peak flowering period about 10 days earlier.
  2. The usage method is to irrigate roots with 1-2mg/L S-ABA solution from the water absorption period to the early stage of germination. It should be noted that during the water absorption period to the early stages of germination, spraying treatment is ineffective as the buds have not yet shed their buds.
  3. Enhance the initial swelling of grapes with nuclei.
  4. The usage method is to perform two whole plant spraying treatments with 20mg/L S-ABA solution or root irrigation treatments with 1-2mg/L S-ABA solution 10-15 days before flowering and at the end of flowering period.
  5. Reduce the phenomenon of stem hardening in seedless cultivation, promote grain enlargement, reduce fruit cracking, alleviate grain loss, and promote early color ripening.
  6. The usage method is to add 25mg/L S-ABA solution to the conventional gibberellin treatment solution.
  7. Improve poor coloring and high temperature barriers during the summer high temperature period, promote fruit enlargement again, advance the harvest period by 1-2 weeks, and improve fruit quality and taste.
  8. The application method is to use 1~2mg/L S-ABA solution for root irrigation or use a special spray to prevent fruit powder contamination when about 1/3 of the fruit rooms in the garden begin to color.

Note: The recommended concentration for grape coloring treatment is 200-400mg/L.

Effect:

  • Improve the absorption and efficiency of potassium and trace elements, and promote photosynthesis.
  • The combination of grape S-ABA with plant hormones, insecticides, and fungicides has a synergistic effect. During the growth process of grapes, the use of gibberellin alone can easily produce negative effects, such as flower and fruit drop, stem hardening, and thick fruit stems. However, turmeric and ethephon can easily affect the coloring effect and flavor of grapes. Adding an appropriate amount of s-aba to conventional chemical treatments can alleviate the negative effects of using a certain hormone alone, and when mixed with non alkaline pesticides, it can improve the insecticidal and bactericidal effects.
  • It has good stress regulation for grape growth.
  • It can alleviate the physiological disorders of fruits caused by high temperature and strong sun exposure.
  • Promote fruit setting and enlargement.
  • Promote grape coloring and improve quality. No fruit drop, no fruit cracking, and no impact on taste.

Taking Kyoho grapes as an example, large-scale harvesting can be achieved on the 4th to 7th day after using s-inducer.

Taking Fuji Minoru as an example, harvesting can be achieved using s-inducible antibiotics, and large-scale harvesting can be achieved on the 4th to 7th day.

Taking Xia Hei as an example, the use of S-inducer results in pure color and can be harvested 3-7 days in advance.

Taking Red Earth, Creusen, Crimson, and Beauty Fingers as examples, the use of S-ABA results in pure color, which not only promotes coloring and promotes early market release, but also maintains the original characteristics of grapes in this color range, without negative effects such as deep skin coloring.
